Vinification:Maceration on the skins for one full year in open stone vats from the Carso region; spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts;no filtration,stabilization,or clarification.

Aging:One additional year in large oak barrels after maceration.

Tasting Notes:A wine of delicate power and deep minerality,expressing the rocky terroir of the Carso plateau.Aromas of herbs,citrus peel,and sea breeze with a textured,savory palate and long,saline finish.
