Vino del Poggio
On the hills overlooking the Trebbia Valley, where the woods open into pockets of clay and sunlight, there is a small estate that seems to live outside of time:Vino del Poggio. Here,in Poggio Superiore di Statto, life moves slowly, guided by the wind and the rhythm of the seasons. It is in this meaningful quiet that Andrea Cervini found his path.

Andrea didn’t stumble into wine.He grew up among old vines, listening to rural stories and learning to read the land’s subtle language. For years, the family farm was simply an agriturismo, a place of honest hospitality. But everything shifted when his friendship with Giulio Armani – a key figure in Piacenza’s natural wine movement – sparked something deeper. Andrea realized that those family-grown grapes deserved to speak in their own voice.
This is how Vino del Poggio was born: an artisanal, instinctive, deeply human project. The vineyards of Malvasia Aromatica di Candia,Barbera, and Bonarda sink their roots into clay soils surrounded by wild woodland. The wines that emerge are sincere, vibrant, unadorned: they tell the story of the hill, the labor, the patience, the freedom.
Today, Vino del Poggio remains a small estate that doesn’t seek attention, yet wins over those who know how to listen. It is the faithful portrait of a man and his land,a place where wine isn’t produced – it’s protected.
