Nikolas Juretic
In the rolling hills of Collio, where the landscape moves like an ancient sea,Nikolas Juretič chose to return to his roots. His winery was founded in 2018,yet its story stretches back much further, into the vineyards his family has tended for more than fifty years. As a child,he saw those vines as a secret world; as an adult,he decided to truly listen to them.

Before coming back to Cormòns,Nikolas wandered through the wine world with restless curiosity:oenology studies, work with several estates, and above all the formative experience with the Simonit & Sirch pruning team, where he learned to read the vine as a living, breathing organism.
Today he cultivates two hectares spread across Montona,Pradis and Bosc di Sot,three hills that speak different dialects but share the same soul: Ponca, the friulian soil of crumbling marl and sandstone. Here grow his beloved native varieties – Friulano,Malvasia Istriana,Ribolla Gialla – along with small parcels of Picolit and other whites that complete the mosaic.
In the cellar, time moves slowly.Fermentations follow their natural rhythm, rackings are minimal, and intervention is kept to the essential.Nikolas seeks wines that don’t shout but speak deeply:bright, saline, vibrant wines that tell the story of Collio without filters.
Production is small, almost intimate. Each bottle is a piece of land, but also a piece of his own journey:a return home,a commitment to craftsmanship, and the desire to protect a legacy while shaping it into the future.
