Colbacco is an independent wine project based in Mercatello,near Perugia,created by four friends brought together by their passion for natural wine.The team includes Guido “Zaffo” Santarelli,who leads communication and sales;Luca and Giulio, winegrowers and founders of Lumiluna;and Marco Durante, known as “Il Signor Kurtz”,who oversees the winemaking vision.

The winery focuses on restoring old vineyards of Grechetto,Trebbiano,Sangiovese and Merlot,farmed with clean,low‑intervention agriculture.Colbacco’s philosophy is rooted in producing free,authentic,artisanal wines that blend traditional local knowledge with modern agricultural and oenological expertise.  

With an annual production of around 10,000 bottles,Colbacco stands out for expressive, often skin‑contact wines that capture the soul of Umbria through sincerity and collective spirit.
