Vino Lauria

Vino Lauria is based in Alcamo,Western Sicily, where Vito Lauria revived his family’s historic winery,originally founded by his grandfather in 1958.After studying enology in Friuli and gaining experience in several renowned northern Italian wineries,Vito returned to Sicily in 2005 to rebuild the estate,officially releasing wines under his own name in 2010.  

His winemaking philosophy is rooted in the local landscape:organic farming,minimal intervention, and a strong focus on native Sicilian varieties such as:Catarratto,Grillo, Zibibbo,Perricone,Frappato and Nero D'Avola. The vineyards,located between 600 and 1000 meters above sea level,feature calcareous soils for white grapes and clay for reds, resulting in wines that are fresh,expressive, and authentically Mediterranean.The beautifully designed labels mirror the winery’s clean,essential and genuine style.
