Il Pingro

Il Pingro is a young artisanal winery based in the province of Grosseto,founded by Chiara and Margherita—two cousins driven by the desire to revive their grandmother’s old vineyards on the Tuscan Maremma coast.  

Just 1 km from the sea, the vines grow on sandy,mineral-rich soils swept by the Mistral wind,giving the wines a distinctive maritime character deeply rooted in the local terroir.

The winery works entirely by hand,following a healthy and respectful agricultural approach and focusing on native varieties such as Ansonica,Procanico,and Sangiovese.The result is a small,authentic,and expressive production that captures the essence of Maremma through simple,vibrant, and honest wines.
